Death Note, Heart Pounding Fun

 

Death Note is an animation series that is based on a manga that originated in Japan. A few years ago Netflix released this series from Japan for their subscribers to watch. The day I saw it on Netflix I was ecstatic! I have already read the manga series in the past and I was very excited to see it as an animation. The storyline of Death Note is based in Japan and an intelligent high school boy named Light finds a notebook called Death Note at his high school. He quickly learns that it is not an ordinary notebook and he finds out that it gives him the power to kill by writing the names of his victims in it. He decides to use this power to rid the world of evil by writing the names of criminals in his death note. This is my favorite series to watch on Netflix because it is suspenseful, engaging and romantic. I love this series because I enjoy watching shows that are fantasies and supernatural. This anime keeps me on the edge of my seat the whole time I am watching it and it takes you away from reality. After I saw the first episode I had to devote the rest of my day to finish the series because I was so captivated in watching how was Light going to get away with the daunting task of killing all of the criminals in Japan. If it wasn't for Netflix I probably wouldn't love anime as much as I do now. I recommend anyone who is interested in crime, suspense or romance to watch this animation series and I am sure they would love it as much as I do!
