Bring back Desperate Housewives
I love watching Netflix after a long day at work or a rough day at school. Being able to come home prop my feet up and binge watch your favorite show. Netflix has just about any movie or TV show you can think but of course they don’t have every show. I mean it really does suck when you’re expecting to find a show on Netflix and it’s not there, but let me tell you there is nothing worse than being in the middle of a TV series and all of a sudden it’s gone. When I first subscribed to Netflix I made sure my favorite show was on there before I actually purchased it, so can you imagine my frustration when Netflix stopped playing my favorite show Desperate Housewives.
Desperate Housewives is a show about housewives who live on Wisteria Lane. The show revolves around a woman who committed suicide for no particular reason. All of a sudden clues and odd stuff begins to happen in the neighborhood. This show has just about everything, it has comedy, romance and suspense all in one show. The show consists of about 8 seasons, I watched the last season when it aired on television and once I started watching it I was hooked but I know I needed to watch the first seasons before I began to watch the most recent season so I did. I did some research and found out Netflix had Desperate Housewives I was honestly so happy because I knew I was going to binge watch. So that’s what I did I would watch at least 3 to 4 episodes a day and I made it up to the third season. Until one day I logged in and it told me Desperate Housewives was not available on Netflix. I think it is unethical for Netflix to just stop airing a show from one day to the next. It is rude and disrespectful. I think Netflix shouldn’t be allowed to stop providing shows when people are in the middle of watching it. Netflix is a great program and gives us the opportunity to enjoy old movies and old shows that either don’t air anymore or just aren’t replayed. My argument isn’t just that Netflix should offer Desperate Housewives my argument is that we shouldn’t allow Netflix to remove a show or movie. I love Netflix but I would love it a lot more if it would show Desperate Housewives like did at one point.
